We are currently looking for support from a student for the research project "VIPER - Changeability of IT systems in manufacturing companies".
The project investigates the adaptability of IT systems in manufacturing companies. The background to the project is that the selection of business applications such as ERP, ME, AP Systems etc. is usually based on a static view of the company's requirements for these systems. Requirements that change over time or future requirements are not explicitly taken into account.
In order to consider the ability of IT systems to change in the future, both the elements of the socio-technical information systems and the drivers and enablers of change should be examined.
Your tasks
- Among other things, research activities and, if necessary, planning and conducting expert interviews to identify drivers of change.
- Support in project work, for example in writing publications etc.
Your profile
You are studying one of the following subjects:
- Computer science
- Business informatics
- Industrial engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- or comparable
You have an interest in digitalization, IT systems / business applications (such as ERP, ME, AP systems, etc.)
You also have knowledge of software development and/or working with business applications
Good written and spoken German and English skills are required.
